We are seeking a Support Engineer to join our development team.

As a member of the Modularity design team you will lead in creating an all in one financial automation & communication platform that enables our customers to:

About the Role

We’re looking for a skilled Support Engineer with excellent communication skills and experience supporting SaaS platforms. You will field escalated technical issues and offer solutions and service via email, chat, or phone. The successful candidate for this role will come in and quickly have a strong command of the company's customer service policies and be well-trained in product knowledge that can be critical for offering quick and accurate assistance to customers.

What you will do

  • Investigate complex issues and uncover both immediate workarounds and long-term improvements to our platform.
  • Communicate directly with clients and support colleagues to help clients resolve technical issues.
  • Use available tools to make real-time technical fixes.
  • Provide solutions for technical questions and tool issues regarding not only our own product but integrations with third-party systems such as NetSuite and Quickbooks.
  • Provide excellent detail to the Product and Engineering teams regarding code-fixes and enhancements to the Modularity platform.
  • Document and be involved in continuous process improvement.
  • Maintain awareness of the Modularity platform in order to speak knowledgeably with prospective and existing customers.

Who you are

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of or excitement to leverage the following tools: Mixpanel, Amplitude, Segment, Metabase, Fullstory, Notion, GitHub.
  • Ability to diffuse tension to work through the issues at hand.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Patience and empathy in helping others resolve tech issues.
