We are seeking a Sales Development Representative to join our sales team.

As a member of the Modularity design team you will lead in creating an all in one financial automation & communication platform that enables our customers to:

  • Remove low leverage administrative work from their day
  • Instantly communicate financial data to their entire organization

About the Role

We are looking for a Sales Development Rep (SDR) for to join our Sales Team at Modularity. You'll be an essential team member standing in the frontline of communication with our prospects. The ideal SDR has a strong understanding of sales processes that will set us up for success in generating revenue and improving profitability.

What you will do

  • Proactively seek out sales opportunities in the market markets.
  • Utilize Hubspot for outreach, cold-calling and cold-email to generate new sales opportunities.
  • Connect with leads to identify their needs and recommend appropriate products and services.
  • Build long-term strategic relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities and generate referrals.
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and sales executives.
  • Showcase/demonstrate our offerings to prospects in a compelling way.
  • Follow up with leads generated from marketing campaigns.
  • Draft contracts and close deals.
  • Report to sales manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results.

Who you are

  • You have experience in sales with a history of exceeding lead targets.
  • You have strong communication skills via phone and email and are comfortable with cold-calling and cold-emailing.
  • You have a proven track record in creative problem-solving approaches and strong analytical skills.
  • You have a strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization.
  • You are a fast learner with strong communication skills.
