Customer Success Manager

We are seeking a Customer Success Manager to join our customer success team.

As a member of the Modularity design team you will lead in creating an all in one financial automation & communication platform that enables our customers to:

  • Remove low leverage administrative work from their day
  • Instantly communicate financial data to their entire organization

About the Role

As Customer Success Manager, you'll help lead the charge as our first team members as we continue to add customers to our roster globally. If you are experienced in building lasting customer relationships and are passionate about making meaningful contributions to our customer’s success, this opportunity is for you.

What you will do

  • Build a relationship with customer executives and operations teams to understand their needs
  • Stay up-to-date on company offerings, always acing product knowledge.
  • Conduct product training for customers.
  • Facilitate meetings with customers and users of various levels of professional seniority.
  • Identify opportunities for account expansion and revenue growth within accounts.
  • Drive retention among our customers by ensuring their awareness of our work.
  • Represent the customer to internal teams, providing the customer perspective directly.

Who you are

  • You have CSM relationship or account management experience working in software as a service (SaaS).
  • You have a solutions-oriented and goal-oriented mindset.
  • You have a sales background; quota-carrying with a track record of success in selling.
  • You are experienced in: customer-facing role, renewal & revenue generation (sales) execution, analyzing customer accounts, identifying churn signals, account growth opportunities, presenting and selling to across C-suite level decision-makers, identifying commercial opportunities and providing value-based solutions building relationships, and collaborating closely with team members across all of Modularity's departments and stakeholders, forecasting and pipeline management.
  • You are highly organized with strong project management and time management skills.
  • You have hands-on experience with product training for external customers.
  • You have proven experience in delivering value-based communications.
  • You have empathy for customers and curiosity to understand their needs and wants.
  • You have the passion and drive to work in a quickly growing startup where you will help shape a new function and the ways we add value to our customers.
